Mia Goth has filed for divorce from troubled actor Shia LaBeouf, after a decade-long marriage.
The actress filed the documents on Tuesday night, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split. She lists the date of separation as July 28, 2025, per the filing obtained by The Daily Mail.
The former couple share one daughter, Isabel, four. They married on October 10, 2016.
Goth, 32, is asking for primary legal and physical custody of Isabel and is also requesting to terminate the court’s ability to award either her or LaBeouf, 40, spousal support.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Goth and LaBeouf for comment and has yet to hear back.
The divorce filing comes amid a turbulent few months for LaBeouf, who was arrested in February after a drunken bar brawl in New Orleans.
In June, LaBeouf pleaded guilty to three counts of simple battery. Orleans Parish Judge Juana Marine-Lombard handed the actor a six-month suspended sentence and two years of probation. He was ordered to stay away from the victims and the bar.

Days arrest his February arrest, LaBeouf denied having a ‘drinking problem’ in an interview with journalist and YouTuber Andrew Callaghan. LaBeouf said he doubted rehab would help him.
LaBeouf told Callaghan that the issues leading to his aggressive behavior during Mardi Gras were more rooted in ‘anger and ego’ than alcohol.
LaBeouf also said that ‘big gay people are scary to me.’
‘When I’m standing by myself and three gay dudes are next to me touching my leg, I get scared,’ he told Callaghan. ‘I’m sorry. If that’s homophobic, then I’m that.’
LaBeouf, who converted to Catholicism a few years ago, has had several run-ins with the law during his career, including a 2017 New York City arrest on suspicion of assault that happened during a livestream.
While on location in Georgia filming The Peanut Butter Falcon later that year, he was arrested for public drunkenness and accused of disorderly conduct and obstruction and sentenced to probation.
In 2020, LaBeouf was charged with misdemeanor battery and petty theft in Los Angeles.
LaBeouf has previously credited Goth as having ‘saved [his] f*****g life,’ once revealing on an episode of the REAL ONES podcast that ‘she gave me hope when I was really running on fumes.’
The pair started dating in December 2012 after meeting on the set of Nymphomaniac: Vol II, and they tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2016.
The couple’s relationship was tumultuous, with the pair filmed in the midst of an explosive argument in 2015, and they went on to split up in 2018.
At the time a source told Page Six: ‘Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable, and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.’
The pair reconciled in 2020, and it was revealed that the latter was pregnant with the couple’s child in 2022.
The X star gave birth to Isabel in March of that year.
While the couple were separated, he began dating singer FKA Twigs in 2019.
In December 2020, Twigs filed a high-profile action accusing the actor of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, along with knowingly giving her a sexually transmitted disease. He denied all allegations against him.
The lawsuit sought $10million in damages for alleged sexual battery, assault, and emotional distress during the couple’s relationship.
In July it was revealed that the pair had settled their lawsuit, with the British hitmaker requesting to dismiss all claims against LaBeouf, 39, with prejudice, meaning she cannot bring the case back to court in the future.
At the time of Twigs and LaBeouf’s settlement, attorneys for both parties confirmed the matter had been resolved privately.
