T-Mobile said it is investigating claims of a data breach that has reportedly affected 100 million of its wireless customers.

According to a report from Vice, an underground forum post claims to have obtained data of more than 100 million people from T-Mobile’s servers.

The data reportedly obtained includes Social Security information, physical addresses and IMEI numbers that uniquely identify individual mobile devices, the report said.

In a statement emailed to USA TODAY, T-Mobile said it has been actively investigating the claims made within the forum but had no additional information to share at this time.

This is not the first time customers of the wireless carrier have been impacted by a data breach. It’s the third in recent years. In 2018, T-Mobile revealed a breach that had potentially exposed information such as email addresses and phone numbers.
