Investigation launched after B.C. father visits sanatorium 4 times before cadence diagnosis

Family and friends of a northwest B.C. male want to know since it took 4 sanatorium visits over a four-day camber for doctors to finally endorse a cadence diagnosis and to yield specialized medical treatment.

Northern Health, that runs a hospitals in Hazelton and Terrace, B.C., told CBC News it has launched an inner review into Chuck Gray’s care. 

Gray, 37, was gillnet fishing with his wife, Tanya, during Gisgegas Canyon, north of Hazelton and easterly of a intersection of a Babine and Skeena Rivers, on Aug. 6. As they were removing prepared to leave that Sunday afternoon, family crony Jacob Beaton showed adult with his son.

The subsequent day, Monday Aug. 7, the Grays visited Beaton during his home to appreciate him for his help. 

Beaton told CBC News he immediately beheld how droopy Gray’s face was. He afterwards called his uncle, a late puncture room physician, for advice. 

“I described his symptoms, and my uncle immediately pronounced ‘It sounds like a cadence … time is of a essence. He should be in a hospital,'” pronounced Beaton.  

Beaton took Gray behind to a sanatorium in Hazelton — now his third revisit in as many days — and stayed by his side as an advocate. 

After more tests, he asked about a intensity stroke.
