FDA warns on blending opioid obsession treatments with other meds

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration released new warnings about a dangers of blending remedy for opioid obsession with anti-anxiety medicines and other drugs that also delayed respirating and mind activity.

The FDA warned that blending such drugs can means problem breathing, coma or death, so it should be finished with caution.

“Careful government of a studious and co-ordination of caring is recommended,” rather than denying use of methadone or buprenorphine, FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb wrote in a statement released Wednesday with the warning.

The FDA recommends that doctors rise minute diagnosis plans, advise patients on obsession treatments about a dangers of holding mixed drugs that subdue mind activity, try tapering them off those other drugs and guard them with blood and urine testing.
