‘The Irishman’ and ‘1917’ Lead 2020 Nominations for PGA Awards

The Producers Guild of America has announced nominees for the upcoming 31st annual awards which is going to take place at the Hollywood Palladium on January 18.

Oscar favourites “1917“, “The Irishman“, “Joker“, and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” have scored nominations for the 31st annual Producers Guild of America Awards.

The four films have joined “Ford v Ferrari“, “Jojo Rabbit“, “Little Women“, “Marriage Story“, “Knives Out“, and “Parasite” for the top award, which will be handed out at a ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium on January 18, 2020.

“Big Little Lies“, “The Crown“, “Game of Thrones“, “Succession“, and “Watchmen” have made the cut for the top TV dramas, while the producers of “Barry“, “Fleabag“, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel“, “Schitt’s Creek“, and “Veep” will battle it out for the Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television – Comedy.

The producers behind “Abominable“, “Frozen II“, “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World“, “Missing Link“, and “Toy Story 4” are up for the Award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures.
