Obama Visits Miami Shrine In Nod To Cuban Americans

MIAMI, May 28 (Reuters) – President Barack Obama toured a Catholic tabernacle dear by Cuban Americans on Thursday, a curtsy to his oath to finish some-more than 50 years of hostilities with Cuba and revive tactful family and blurb ties.
The Cuban outcast village in south Florida has been separate on Obama’s pierce to normalize family with Cuba – a understanding that Pope Francis and other Catholic officials helped broker.
“The boss is visiting a Shrine of Our Lady of Charity in Miami to compensate his respects to a Cuban-American diaspora that ceremony there,” pronounced Bernadette Meehan, mouthpiece for a White House National Security Council, in a statement.
“He will respect a sacrifices that Cuban-Americans have done in their office of autocracy and opportunity, as good as their unusual contributions to a country,” Meehan said.
