In box her Olympic award in Judo and UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion pretension didn’t make it transparent adequate — Ronda Rousey is not
The 28-year-old UFC warrior and singer spoke with HuffPost Live’s Ricky Camilleri on May 13 about her new book My Fight / Your Fight. During their review Camilleri asked Rousey if she receives opposite forms of questions than her masculine UFC counterparts. Her answer? A resounding yes.
“I’m really asked opposite kinds of questions. we don’t see guys being asked about their personal lives all a time,” she said. “You know what I’m asked all a time? ‘You’re single? Explain yourself! You have to explain yourself!’ And I’m like why? Did we provoke someone, am we doing something wrong?”
Rousey told Camilleri that when people ask her because she’s single, she replies: “Because I’m bustling using a multi-billion dollar corporation.” Sounds like a great
“I’m young, successful and I’m single. Why is that a bad thing?” she said. “I don’t hear any of a guys being asked these questions. Because if they’re immature and successful and singular everyone’s like ‘Baller! That man is awesome, he’s vital a dream.’ [The media] is never bugging them about that so because do we get bugged about it?”
Preach Ronda.
