Gigi Hadid Debuts New ‘Love Layers’ Haircut Ahead of Taylor Swift’s Wedding
Gigi Hadid is clearly feeling the love if her new ‘do is any indication.
“‘Love Layers’ for beautiful @gigihadid!” hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 3, snapping pics of Hadid’s hair transformation. “I wanted to create the updated version of the C-cut giving this evening to Gigi some Love Layers (aka heart shape layers)!”
Giannetos wanted to give Hadid, 31, “a bit more lift” on her roots.
“The first layers start hitting a little below the chin till the tips of the hair,” Giannetos added in his upload. “It creates, basically, an illusion of heart shape layers! Volume on the top and more narrow at the bottom. In this case you can create an illusion of contour with the haircut so the face looks more structure!”
Giannetos completed Hadid’s middle-parted ‘doby brushing out the ends into a heart shape.
“[Use] a big round brush, pin the hair up till they cooldown after brush the hair with your fingers,” he explained of his process. “Last, spray some hairspray till you create your heart shape. Layers, your LoveLayers!”
Hadid got her hair done just before her BFF Taylor Swift is reportedly set to tie the knot with her fiancé, Travis Kelce. Neither Swift nor Kelce, both 36, have publicly divulged wedding plans, though Us Weekly and other outlets report the big day will take place on Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

While Hadid has not confirmed her attendance, boyfriend Bradley Cooper was spotted en route to the Thursday, July 2, rehearsal dinner. Hadid and Cooper, 51, have been romantically linked since 2023.
Hadid and Cooper have since bonded with Kelce since he started dating the Grammy winner. Hadid, Cooper and Kelce even sat together during one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts in Paris in May 2024, though the NFL star was too timid to ask Cooper for acting advice.
“I should have. BC is an unbelievable actor and director in his own right,” Kelce told Access Hollywood later that month. “I guess I’m just too shy to ask him for advice in those kinds of situations. I don’t know if I’d even be able to understand what he’s talking about.”
