Bombardier Inc. has reached a rough understanding to sell a travel multiplication to Paris-based Alstom SA for some-more than $7 billion US, a Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.
The newspaper, citing unnamed sources informed with a details, said a understanding could be announced as early as Monday.
It also pronounced Quebec’s grant account manager, the Caisse de dépôt et placement, will sell a 32.5 per cent interest in Bombardier’s sight section to Alstom and buy a minority interest in a total sight company.
Bombardier has around $7 billion of debt entrance due by 2025 and has been offered resources in new years to stabilise a financial position.
Last week, a company announced a sale of a remaining blurb aviation project, a minority position in Airbus’s A220.
If a sale of a travel multiplication goes ahead, it would leave Bombardier with usually a business-jet unit.
