Designed by Los Griegos Studio, the lodge’s rooms are warm and inviting, with Southwestern textiles and Western art. In the communal great room you’ll find a three-sided stone fireplace, along with places to kick back and read a book, a game-playing area with a pool table, and a bar. Meals might take place in the lodge dining room overlooking the mountains, or outdoors. There’s also a wellness area with a fitness center, sauna, cold plunge and hot tub. Families and groups seeking more privacy may choose one of two houses, known as the Reserve Residences. Starting rates — which are all-inclusive, and include transportation from the San Luis Valley Regional Airport, food and beverages, and experiences — are from $2,500 a night, double occupancy.
