Frontier Airlines, a no-frills conduit with inexpensive tickets and a raise of fees, is flourishing again.
The Denver-based airline on Wednesday announced 18 new nonstop routes and put 7 previously announced routes out of Newark International Airport, that it began portion in Nov after Southwest Airlines’ exit, on sale.
The new flights embody Frontier’s initial use to El Salvador and Guatemala, and a large boost in flights out of Miami, a hub for American Airlines. Frontier has served Central America in a past, though with use to Costa Rica that has given ended.
The airline is also adding dual new destinations in a Dominican Republic: Santo Domingo and Santiago. Frontier already serves Punta Cana and was ostensible to supplement Newark-Punta Cana subsequent spring, though tickets did not go on sale currently along with other new Newark routes, and a airline supposing no sum on a flights.
Frontier frequently experiments with routes, introducing many on a seasonal basis with flights a few times a week, and fast pulls them if bookings don’t accommodate expectations.
