Disney Skyliner gondolas open Sunday, giving Orlando guest high-flying transportation

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLORIDA – Disney sorcery takes to a skies this weekend, as roughly 300 colorful gondolas take flight, whisking Orlando thesis park guest between parks and attractions.

Disney Skyliner opens Sunday, with 6 miles of wire and 5 stations joining Walt Disney World’s resorts with Hollywood Studios and a International Gateway during Epcot Center. 

“You get a new appreciation for Walt Disney World whey we see it from adult there,” Thomas Mazloum, comparison clamp boss of Walt Disney Resorts, pronounced Friday during a media preview of a gondolas.

The gondola cars, embellished in contented shades of red, blue, green, yellow and purple, glide above a resorts. A peaceful zephyr keeps passengers cool, while they take in birds-eye views of Epcot’s Spaceship Earth and a Swan and Dolphin Resort.

Character themes hang about half of a scarcely 300 10-passenger cars, giving a apparition of Mickey, Chewbacca, Snow White and other Disney favorites floating above.

The Skyliner joins other iconic Disney modes of travel that embody a monorail, packet boats, H2O taxis and engine coaches.
