Gerald Tautenhahn and his opossum Zatara flew from Long Beach, California, to revisit Tautenhahn’s mom for Thanksgiving, according to Fox 7 Austin and a New York Post. Tautenhahn pronounced he done preparations to take Zatara on a plane.
“We did all of a task about a month in advance,” Tautenhahn told Fox 7 Austin. “I called a Department of Transportation, privileged it with them. Cleared it with JetBlue, they pronounced it was fine.”
Tautenhahn and Zatara were booted from their JetBlue moody after a 30-minute check and told they wouldn’t be means to fly, according to Tautenhahn’s Instagram comment for Zatara.
