In In In Water, Edmaier captures a roughly fantastical coming of some of universe Earth’s many rare aqueous features. An erupting volcano in Iceland, a crystal-like glacier in Switzerland and an amoeba-like embankment are all prisoner from above, displaying a accumulation of beauty a world has to offer.

It helps that Edmaier was a geologist prolonged before committing to a career in photography — and, his wife, who travels with him on his expeditions, still works in a margin of geology, too.
