Armed Man Shot And Killed In Front Of Hawaii Middle School

A police chase on Tuesday turned deadly after a 31-year-old man was shot and killed outside of a middle school in Honolulu.

During a press conference at the scene of the incident, Honolulu Police Major Larry Lawson said family members of the man reported him missing and distraught

Police then located the 31-year-old suspect, who appeared to have a gun in his possession

The suspect finally stopped on a street fronting Dole Middle School in Honolulu

The suspect reportedly turned the gun on himself and fired,

Lawson told local news station KITV4 that “a gunshot was heard

Police on the scene, however, told Hawaii News Now that the officer opened fire after the gunman turned his firearm on himself.
