More Delta employees sue Lands’ End over uniforms they contend done them sick

A new organisation of Delta Air Lines employees is suing Lands’ End over illnesses they contend resulted from wearing new uniforms released in 2018.

The lawsuit, filed on Dec. 31 in U.S. District Court in Wisconsin, where Lands’ End is based, is identical to another suit filed by dual Delta moody attendants in New York in May.

The Wisconsin fit seeks class-action standing on interest of 64,000 Delta employees who were released a uniforms, including moody attendants, airfield patron use employees, sheet and embankment agents, and SkyClub workers.

The lawsuits claim that wearing the uniforms caused skin rashes, headaches, tired and other problems.

The workers who brought a lawsuit wish Lands’ End to remember a uniforms and trigger a health monitoring module for those affected.

Delta is not named as a suspect in a suit.

Lands’ End declined to criticism on a lawsuit. In a statement, Delta pronounced it invested in “a serious toxicology study” of a uniforms.

The Wisconsin lawsuit claims Lands’ End combined several chemicals to a uniforms to make them stretchier, wrinkle- and stain-resistant, waterproof, anti-static and deodorizing.

The Delta employees explain that a uniforms contained amounts of chromium, mercury and formaldehyde, among other chemicals, in additional of garment-industry standards.

“These chemicals and complicated metals are famous to means significant reactions and serious personal harm,” a Wisconsin fit says.
