Two-time vital champion Simona Halep says she is reuniting with manager Darren Cahill after a year apart.
Halep pronounced in a video posted Thursday on Twitter that “Darren will be behind by my side subsequent season” and that she “can’t wait to finish what we started.”
They worked together for 4 years in a past. During that time, Halep won a 2018 French Open for her initial Grand Slam pretension and twice finished during No. 1 in a WTA year-end rankings.
She also was a runner-up during 3 vital tournaments.
In Nov 2018, Cahill pronounced he was holding a 12-month mangle from coaching to spend some-more time with his family and do TV broadcasting.
Without him as her coach, Halep won Wimbledon this July.
She is now ranked No. 6 after a second-round detriment to Taylor Townsend during a U.S. Open.
