Van Uytvanck beats Flipkens during Japan Women's Open

HIROSHIMA, Japan (AP) — Third-seeded Alison Van Uytvanck modernized to a quarterfinals of a Japan Women’s Open with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 feat over Kirsten Flipkens on Thursday.
