Apple rumored to offer pro integration features between iPads and Macs

For graphic designers, iPad Pro integration with the Mac should sound like a tantalizing prospect. Without turning a MacBook into a device like the Surface Pro, Apple will bring the best of iOS and macOS together. Though, that means you’ll have to spend a lot of money in order to adopt this setup.

As 9to5Mac notes, apps like Astropad already offer this type of functionality, so it’s not an entirely foreign concept to iPad Pro users.

About the Mac Pro

The same OSNews report goes on to say the revamped Mac Pro Apple talked about this week probably won’t arrive until early 2019. In fact, Apple only just started planning what the device will offer “a few weeks ago.” Apparently, the poor reception to the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar caught Apple by surprise, causing the company to rethink its future.

We may get a glimpse at Apple’s future when a new iMac is released later this year, though it’s unclear if the integration between macOS and iOS will be available by then.
