Huge PlayStation Sale drops the price of “Critics’ Favorites” up to 70% off

Funny, this is a “Critic’s Favorites” sale, but Suikoden II hasn’t received a price drop nor did Square Enix ever get around to releasing SaGa Frontier as a PSOne Classic. I guess I missed the survey…

At any rate, the games available through this sale are the biggest critical hits from the last few years, and there plenty of excllent titles that I would happily throw my weight behind, just not at the expense of Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy VI.

Plenty of recommendations to go around

Usually, I struggle with these “Critics’ Favorites” sales because I rarely play video games from within the last few years unless it is work related or a Japanese franchise I’ve been playing since I was in diapers. Several games in this sale, though, have caught my eye, and I would be ecstatic to point you in their direction.

Funny that two of them are actually over 10 years old and just happened to have quality re-releases within the last year. Both REZ Infinite and Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir are easily my favorite games here. If you need something more “modern,” then I would support you in buying Metal Gear Solid V, DOOM, or Ovewatch.
