Nintendo announces Super Mario Odyssey, and I’m definitely buying day-1

Nintendo finally revealed the brand new Super Mario game for the Nintendo Switch during its Nintendo Switch presentation tonight. Super Mario Odyssey is the latest game in the iconic franchise, and I’m absolutely stoked for it.

Nintendo stated that the theme this time was to create a Super Mario sandbox and take Mario to unique worlds and locations. The game returns to the exploration-style of gameplay found in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. It’s my dream come true, and exactly what I wanted.

Day-1 purchase for yours truly!

Super Mario Odyssey will be released in Holiday 2017 for the Nintendo Switch. The game will not be available at launch.
