Tilray inks understanding with Shoppers Drug Mart to sell medical cannabis — if Feds give OK
Licensed pot writer Tilray Canada Ltd. has sealed a understanding to turn a medical cannabis tradesman to Shoppers Drug Mart.
Subject to Health Canada’s capitulation of Shoppers Drug Mart’s focus to allot medical marijuana, Tilray will supply a tradesman with Tilray branded medical cannabis products.
The B.C.-based association expects a products will be sole online since regulations shorten a sale of medical cannabis in sell pharmacies.
Tilray says a products are sole in pharmacies in 7 countries around a world.
Shoppers Drug Mart’s understanding with Tilray follows identical agreements that a tradesman sealed final year with MedReleaf and Aphria.
The pharmacy chain’s primogenitor association Loblaw Companies Ltd. applied for a permit to allot medical pot in Oct 2016.
