Jennifer Lopez is all about feeling good and looking good.
Lopez, 56, clapped back at trolls who criticized her sexy style while performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace as part of her Las Vegas residency on Thursday, December 30. In a viral clip shared via X, Lopez said, “It was funny, I do laugh at some of the things [I see] sometimes because they do say funny things too,” she said in response to her haters.
She continued, “One of the things that [I saw was], ‘Why when she takes pictures, she always smiles with her mouth open?’” Lopez then hilariously imitated the pose while the crowd laughed with her. “Why does she always do that?” the singer quipped.
Lopez confidently shut down the naysayers claiming her outfits are far too risque as she reflected on all the shady comments she sees online. “Why is she always dressed that way? Why does she dress that way? Why doesn’t she dress her age?” Lopez reiterated.. “And I was like, ‘Huh?’”
J. Lo laughed off the trolls questioning why she is “always naked,” telling the crowd, “If you had this booty, you’d be naked too!”
Lopez continued to defy critics while the audience cheered her on, showing off her figure in a barely-there costume that swayed as she moved, giving her fans a glimpse of her famous curves.
Lopez’s costume featured a lime green bodysuit with beaded details that dangled from her chest and hips. The piece was finished with straps that crossed over her torso. The singer styled her ensemble with lace-up green heels, as well as a full beat, including dewy skin, long lashes, blushed cheeks and lined lips. Her caramel-highlighted hair was parted down the middle and styled in a big, bouncy blowout.

Lopez has had no shortage of sexy looks throughout the years. Back in 2000, she broke the internet by wearing an iconic naked dress at the Grammys. Her Versace dress featured an open neckline that plunged to her hips, long sleeves and a sheer, jungle-patterned skirt that exposed her legs. She teamed her ensemble with smokey eyeshadow, pink lips, delicate dangling earrings and a half-up coiffure with her brunette ends curled. Lopez’s look went so viral that it led to the creation of Google’s image search function. that it was the start of Google Images.

In 2019, Lopez opened up about the moment, sharing that her stylist at the time actually advised her not to wear the number.
“She was opposed to me wearing the dress because she was like, ‘somebody’s worn it before,’ and that’s like a no-no,” the actress explained.
“I know people try to make it frivolous at times but what those things do is give people an inspiration. It puts a beautiful moment out into the world and it changes style,” Lopez added. “One dress can change the trajectory of how people dress for the next 10 years. It’s a crazy impact that fashion can have — that those fashion statements can have.”
