Where are the best hotels around the world? Look no further than this latest ranking from U.S. News World Report.
The publication’s 10th annual Best Hotels ranking is out, with The Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii earning the top U.S. slot. The resort “impresses both experts and travelers with its countless amenities, ranging from sunset yoga to a world-class golf course, and encourages guests to explore the property’s idyllic setting,” according to a news release. The list covers hotels across Europe, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean, as well.
U.S. News only ranks luxury hotels and resorts, and hotels earn points based on several factors: awards and recognition, based on both number and prominence; hotel class, based on an average rating from different sources; and guest rating, per data licensed by TripAdvisor. U.S. News adds up the number of points and divides that by the number of points eligible.
Here’s a look at winners across the world; there are also separate rankings for resorts and all-inclusives in several regions. You can find the complete rankings here.
