Considering a vicinity to a Mexican border, it’s no consternation there are so many Day of a Dead celebrations in San Diego. They start in Oct with a Sherman Heights DÃa de los Muertos and final until Nov with a 22nd Annual DÃa de los Muertos Festival during a Art Center. In between, there are festivals in La Vista Memorial Park, Old Town San Diego, Encinitas, and Oceanside. Many celebrations are traditional, with “ofrendas,†tabernacle blessings, sugarine skull decorating, music, folk dancing and normal food.
