Zelda: Breath of the Wild Switch vs Wii U comparison video

On March 3, 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch on two platforms. It’ll sell for the Wii U, and it’ll be a day-one launch title for the Nintendo Switch. For a lot of Zelda fans, this has made for a tough internal question.

Do you stick with the Wii U and hold out til the Switch is cheaper and has a better lineup? Or, do you dive into the Switch on day-one to experience a better Zelda? Well, maybe some comparison footage will help that decision.

One thing that’s worth noting before you dive in? This footage comes from GameXplain. They do a great job. However, this compares this past weekend’s Switch demo with a Wii U version that outlets like ours played back in June of 2016. The Wii U version wasn’t as complete as the Switch version.

Still, it’s a solid comparison.

Make up your mind?

No? Me either. On one hand, I want to experience the best possible Zelda: Breath of the Wild. On the other, I feel like it would be more prudent to nab the Switch when there’s more to play.
