What’s next for the MCU after Avengers: Infinity War

- Order: Takes place right after Avengers: Infinity War
Marvel has been radio silent when it comes to Avengers 4, which we like. It makes the events of Infinity War resonate that much more because a fix isn’t readily available right now. The Avengers and the world are in tatters, and a solution won’t be easy to find.
That’s great to build tension and anticipation for Avengers 4 and continue Thanos’ reign of terror in which characters like Black Panther, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier, Gamora and Groot are dead.
You can count on Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and Hawkeye (who was also missing from Infinity War) to join the remaining Avengers, regroup and undo the damage Thanos has enacted upon the universe. Will some of the dead Avengers return? I certainly think so. How could Black Panther stay dead? I just don’t buy it, but I also don’t expect everyone to return to life. I’m sorry Loki.
Now we just have to wait a year before we receive answers to our most burning questions. Why must you toy with our feelings, Marvel?
Spider-Man: Homecoming 2

- Order: Takes place after the events of Avengers 4
Spider-Man: Homecoming 2, or whatever it is called, will be a soft reboot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After the heaviness of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, it marks the beginning of the MCU’s Phase 4. It’ll be refreshing to return to normal where the villain doesn’t kill off half the universe.
The only question left is if some of the other Avengers will still be around, like Iron Man. Tony Stark was a big plot device in the development of Spider-Man; I’d very much like that to continue in the next web slinger movie.
