Valve is developing three full VR games, not experiments

Valve is making full video games right now. Not just experiments, hats for Team Fortress 2 or characters for Dota 2. Valve’s making three full video games for virtual reality.

The word comes from Gabe Newell, Valve’s founder, during a recent roundtable as reported by Eurogamer.

“Right now we’re building three VR games… When I say we’re building three games, we’re building three full games, not experiments.”

Newell didn’t say what the games were or how they relate to their existing IP. He did, apparently, state that the games are being made with Source 2 and Unity.
