Titanfall 2 joins EA’s lineup of free Access games on Xbox, PC

Battlefield 1 is slated to join that roster this fall, too, so it’s growing. In fact, you can pop over to Wikipedia to see a complete list of the games that are “free” as part of the Access subscription. It includes titles like Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and its sequel, Peggle 2, Battlefield 4, sports titles from the year behind, Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3, Mirror’s Edge and loads more.

The point is, as far as free game subscriptions go, EA’s Access program is actually pretty solid.

If you skipped Titanfall 2, consider picking it up here. You’ll get a host of other strong games, but you’ll also get a title that did well critically while missing the boat a bit commercially. It released in the middle of a packed holiday season near games that could be considered way too similar.

Titanfall 2, regardless of the Access program, deserves your attention.
