T-Mobile and Verizon have impressive deals ready for the red iPhone 8

Apple only recently announced the (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition iPhone 8, but T-Mobile and Verizon already have impressive deals lined-up for the colorful smartphone. 

T-Mobile is integrating the red iPhone 8 and 8 Plus options into its buy one get one free program. With the purchase of one red iPhone 8 or 8 Plus (or an iPhone X), customers will get a $700 rebate to use on a second iPhone.

That translates to a free iPhone 8 or a severely discounted iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. There are three caveats to the deal: customers must trade in an eligible device, port a line and purchase both devices through T-Mobile’s installment plan.

Verizon’s deal is a little more straight forward not as great a value. For a limited time, customers who trade in an eligible device will get 50-percent off the red iPhone 8 or 8 Plus. Unfortunately, the discount does not apply to the iPhone X.

Verizon is opening pre-orders for the red iPhone 8 today and T-Mobile’s pre-orders begin on April 11. The red iPhone 8 will be available at Verizon and T-Mobile carrier stores starting Friday April 13, the same day it will be available at Apple Stores.
