Best Overall

Anker PowerCore 20100mAh

Staff Pick

Anker makes the best portable chargers you can buy, bar none. This PowerCore is a whopping 20,100MAh, meaning it can charge the average phone around six times before needing to be refueled at the wall socket. This gives you a tremendous amount of freedom, and the two USB-A sockets give you even more. When my wife and I go to Disneyland, this PowerCore keeps us taking pictures all day long.

For home and travel

10000mAh Q Portable Charger

Kill two birds with one stone when traveling with this dual wall charger and battery pack. You will always know the 10,000mAh battery is ready because the wall charger charges the battery while charging your phone. Then, when it is time to leave, fold the outlet prongs away and presto! You have a slimline power bank that keeps your phone charged for around three times longer than usual.

Excellent value

Anker PowerCore 10000

If you are looking for a budget charger, one you can keep in your pocket or bag for whenever you need it, then the PowerCore 10,000 is for you. It will quickly recharge your phone at least twice, if not more, and it’s incredibly lightweight and easy to transport. If you are hurting for money and power, this is the perfect Portable charger for you.

Battery for car and phone

TACKLIFE T8 800A Peak 18000mAh Lithium Car Jump Starter

The Tacklife takes battery charging to the next level. Not only is it an 18,000mAh phone battery with two USB-A outlets, but it is also a jumper cable capable of jump-starting a gas car up to 7.0 liters and a diesel car up to 5.5 liters. That’s amazing for the cost, and even more impressive than it is not much bigger than a paperback book. Keep this one in your car for any emergency.

Power all the things!

Anker Powerhouse 200

Another portable charger that takes it to the next level is the Anker Powerhouse. This “portable generator” allows you to not only charge your phone, tablet, or laptop; it can also keep things like Mini fridges running for over eight hours. The Powerhouse comes with two USB-A, a USB-C, a standard American outlet, and a 12v car socket to give you as much choice as possible.

Solar powered

FEELLE Solar Power Bank

Solar power can be something of a gimmick, but it can also help when you are out hiking or camping. This solar charger has a massive 24,000mAh battery, so it can take 30-40 hours to charge fully. That may seem crazy, but if you are hiking with it clipped to your backpack and charging for six hours, you should have enough juice to recharge any phone fully. If you start with it fully charged, you should be good for days of travel.

You’ve got the power

As a season pass holder at Disney and a dedicated photo taker, I am always in need of power. When I visit the parks, I always carry a small bag with water, sunscreen, and the Powercore 20100mAh with two charging cables in it. The PowerCore keeps my phone — as well as my wife’s and son’s — fully charged for an entire day at Disneyland, and that is all I can ever ask.

If you love to camp, then you would do well to look at the Powerhouse 200. It is a monster when it comes to charging and will allow you to run almost any device you can think of for as long as you could conceivably need it.
