The Grammys red carpet has proven again and again to be a live-action mood board. And this year, social media algorithms are showing something loud and clear — bold, bright glam is in.
Us Weekly predicts that one 2026 makeup trend will be Zara Larsson-level, Tyla-coded glow, electric eyes, glossy lips, and dewy complexions with highlighter that makes those cheekbones pop. Us also expects ultra polished “clean girl” looks to shine just as strongly alongside them.
This year, Larsson earned her first-ever Grammy nod for her single “Midnight Sun” in the Best Dance Pop Recording category, while Tyla also earned a nod of her own for her song “Push 2 Start” in the Best African Music Performance category. (She won in that category for “Water” in 2024).
Us is gearing up to see both talented artists dazzle on the red carpet — especially because they’ve been setting the bar sky-high.
Larsson’s go-to gal, Sophia Sinot, continues to bring the heat with her color palette while doing the singer’s glam for her Midnight Sun Tour.
Sinot delivered no shortage of iconic looks in recent months, mixing vibrant blue and pink hues, green and yellow powders as well as gold and orange tones. To accentuate her glam, the talented artist has been incorporating shiny rhinestones strategically placed on her eyelids, as well as covering the bridge of her nose and undereye.
Whether it’s a cat eye, flawlessly-lined lip or double-winged liner, one thing for certain is her glam is always fierce.
“Makeup + body makeup by me on @zaralarsson 💖” Sinot shared via Instagram on January 3, showing off the chart-topping performer’s silver star-shaped embellishments on her face, arms, abs and legs. Plus, she added some extra va-va-voom with shimmering hair tinsel.
“Baby these looks will be EVERYWHERE 2026,” one commenter wrote on a December 2025 post, which was a collage-style roundup.
Tyla has been bringing her own flair to the bold and bright makeup fad, rocking teeth gems and body glitter that catch the light beautifully. The “Chanel” hitmaker keeps turning up the temperature with her futuristic, high-impact neon glam. She’s also been donning the shimmering shadows and rhinestones, adding a luxe, dimensional sparkle while taking the stage.
She recently embraced the blushing beauty vibe with a bubblegum-pink style in a photo captured amid her We Wanna Party Tour. Her makeup artist, Ngozi Edeme, who also describes herself as a “blush fanatic,” shared the details behind her glam in December 2025.
“Here’s a dump of the last date in Bahrain we just wanted to play and go crazy with the makeup keeping in theme with #wewannaparty,” she wrote. “Every look created embodied fun and not keeping yourself in a box. Our last look we draped Tyla’s face in what we felt was her Aura colour 💜”

Even as statement makeup dominates, we also expect the “clean girl” looks to be just as popular. This is more of a minimalist, natural-inspired beauty trend that focuses on a radiant complexion, manicured brows, and flushed lips — as seen on Hailey Bieber.
The model-turned-billionaire beauty entrepreneur is the queen of glazed donut skin and the no-makeup makeup looks. It’s believed that she will be alongside husband Justin Bieber at the 2026 Grammys, as the singer earned four nominations for his album SWAG.
“In the mornings, I will cleanse if I’ve done exfoliating the night before,” she revealed about her glam prep in 2023. “Then, I love to use a hydrating toner or essence to get the skin ready to absorb the products, and I can’t go without the Peptide Glazing Fluid. If I’m feeling a more dry, I’ll also put the Barrier Restore Cream and then sunscreen on top.”
