As other companies roll out ultra-affordable Chromebooks, Samsung is making Chrome OS devices that are on the premium side.
The Chromebook Plus (V2) is proof of that. Samsung retooled the specs of this Chromebook to include an Intel-made processor, two cameras, a more high-end design. These improvements were made while keeping the price identical to last year’s Chromebook Plus from the South Korean company.

Samsung went with a 2-in-1 again, meaning the Chromebook Plus still doubles as a laptop and a tablet. Chrome OS is made for laptops, but the ability to download and install Android apps makes tablet mode incredibly useful. Just fold back the screen, and you have a spacious 12.2-inch tablet.
It features a 12.2-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, Intel’s Celeron 3965Y processor, 4GB of memory, 32GB of storage, 13MP and 1MP cameras, a 39Wh battery, and stereo speakers.
There’s also a built-in stylus that can be used for taking notes or drawing, which can be handy with a bunch of Android apps.
