OnePlus 7 with shocking design appears in the wild

People who are allergic to the display notch will be excited to see a new design allegedly coming to the OnePlus 7.

An image posted over the weekend shows what appears to be the OnePlus 7 with no bezels to speak of—no notch, no hole punch, nothing. It’s a striking and quite frankly unbelievable look, but one that will reportedly headline OnePlus’s lineup in 2019.

If what we’re seeing is a legitimate phone, then we have some questions. Namely, where is the front-facing camera? In the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus used a teardrop notch to house the device’s front-facing camera, but that doesn’t appear to be the case with the OnePlus 7.

Either OnePlus is transitioning to a slider design or there’s no front-facing camera at all. Of course, the photo doesn’t show the entire device, so it could also be somewhere in the chin, which doesn’t sound like a better alternative to the teardrop notch.

At this point, we can also speculate on what’s being planned for the OnePlus 7, which is probably still a few months from release.
