Iran successfully launched a satellite-carrying rocket into space on Thursday, a country’s state media reported but elaborating.
Iranian state radio described a launch as involving a Simorgh rocket that is able of carrying a satellite weighing 250 kilograms. The state media news did not elaborate on a rocket’s payload.
Simorgh means “phoenix” in Farsi.
