Bruce Timm has been bringing DC comics to life as animation for decades, starting with the classic Batman: The Animated Series, one of the few cartoons from my childhood that still holds up. He’s still helping these productions along, having most recently acted as executive producer on the new Batman: Gotham by Gaslight adaptation of the 80s Elseworlds comic of the same name. Now, Timm is talking about what his next project might be.

Whether this project happens will depend, Timm says, partly on the success of Gotham by Gaslight. Batman’s Victorian tale hits shelves on January 23, so it might not be too long before we find out what Red Son looks like in motion.
