The home of a Turkish inhabitant team, a Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadı is a country’s largest stadium, and famously staged a 2005 UEFA Champions League final when Liverpool came from 3-0 down to kick AC Milan on penalties.

Named in honour of Kemal Atatürk, owner of a Republic of Turkey, a venue was non-stop in 2002 and has hold vital entertainment events – and a U2 concert – as good as being a home for Istanbul clubs Galatasaray (2003/04), İstanbul BaÅŸakÅŸehir (2007–14) and BeÅŸiktaÅŸ (2013–16). The Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadı is also one of a keystones of Turkey’s bid to horde UEFA EURO 2024.

The preference was taken during Thursday’s UEFA Executive Committee assembly in Kyiv.

Next season’s final will take place on 1 Jun 2019 during Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.
