  • The tip four-ranked League B teams that do not validate for UEFA EURO 2020 will enter play-offs in Mar 2020, with one finals place on offer.

League D

Azerbaijan, FYR Macedonia, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Latvia, Faroe Islands, Luxembourg, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Liechtenstein, Malta, Andorra, Kosovo, San Marino, Gibraltar

  • Teams will be separate into 4 groups of four, with a 4 organisation winners promoted to League C for a 2020 edition.
  • The tip four-ranked League D teams that do not validate for UEFA EURO 2020 will enter play-offs in Mar 2020, with one finals place on offer.

  • The 55 participating teams were separate according to their position in a UEFA National Team Coefficient Rankings following a finish of a European Qualifiers for a 2018 FIFA World Cup (as per 11 Oct 2017; play-off formula will not be included).
  • League A includes the 12 top-ranked teams. The subsequent 12 teams are in League B, a subsequent 15 in League C and a remaining 16 in League D.
