Cancer patients during a sanatorium north of Toronto have had their treatments behind since of a drug shortage.
The 35 patients during Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill, Ont., who were ostensible to be receiving a chemotherapy drug  fluorouracil have been told a drug is not available.
In a statement,Mackenzie Health pronounced it is looking for other alternatives, including securing additional supply. “We are endangered for a stress this causes patients and will be actively reaching out to those influenced to offer them support.”
