TikTok’s Tabs Swatosh Pulls ‘a Dua Lipa’ While Sitting in Structured Dress
Tabitha “Tabs” Swatosh pulled a Dua Lipa while attempting to sit down wearing a constricting dress.
Swatosh, 25, took to TikTok on Wednesday, January 14, to share a hilarious clip of herself attempting to sit in a structured dress at the Bridgerton season 4 premiere in Paris, France. While standing in front of her seat, influencer twins Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight playfully told her from behind the camera, “You’re gonna have to sit down.”
Swatosh then attempted to take her seat while adjusting her tiered ensemble, which featured a hoop skirt. She then placed her arms behind her and leaned back into the chair while cringing. She then gave the camera a side profile before giggling.
Her pastel pink dress featured four layers of hoops — one covering her torso and the rest creating a gorgeous A-line skirt. The design was complete with delicate 3-D florals. For glam, Swatosh donned soft makeup including dewy skin, blushed and contoured cheeks, long lashes, a touch of eyeliner and pink lips. Her brunette hair was styled in a whimsical updo with her bangs parted over her forehead.
“Pulling a Dua Lipa at the premiere tonight,” she captioned the post. “This dress is impossible to sit in but it’s so worth it ✨ #bridgerton AHH!!!” Her fans were quick to laugh with her in the comments section.
“Honestly, it’s their fault for expecting you to sit in that beautiful dress 😍😍 how dare they,” one joked, as a second added, “Masterful tackle, textbook execution!” More added laughing emojis.
The McKnight twins’ official account also got in on the fun, commenting, “Me pretending to tell you to sit lol.”

In her post, Swatosh referenced Dua Lipa struggling to sit at the 2024 Golden Globes. The singer went viral for showing her candid attempt to relax in her chair while wearing a Schiaparelli corset gown.
In the clip, Lipa, 30, was seen slowly leaning into her seat. As she tilted herself backwards, she gave the camera a discouraged smile. Eventually, Lipa gave up and slumped into her chair in an awkward position. She shrugged it off to the camera.
Her black strapless dress was complete with gold details outlining a skeleton. The tight bodice cascaded into a fitted skirt with a pleated hem.

She styled the number with a gold jewel necklace and matching earrings. She added a pop of color to her look with a bright red manicure. Lipa tied her getup together with a full beat, including brown eyeshadow blended into her crease, rosy cheeks, filled-in eyebrows and long lashes. Her hair, which was dyed red at the time, was parted to the side and styled in bombshell curls.
“Thank you @goldenglobes for such a beautiful night last night – the only thing missing was a reclining chair,” she hilariously captioned the post. Her fans also laughed with her in the comments section.
