The star explained that she has not had a facelift while also getting candid about the reason why.
‘I don’t cut my face, so I probably look just myself, but older,’ Carter said. ‘And the reason I’ve never had any facial surgery is just because I’m afraid. It’s scary, because we’ve all seen some bad ones.’
The actress was crowned Miss World USA in 1972 and worked as a singer before she landed the biggest role of her career.
She was cast as the role of Diana Prince in the Wonder Woman series that aired from 1975 to 1979.
The show was very popular, originally airing on the ABC network, and then moving over to CBS.
‘There is something about the goodness, kindness, and humanity of Wonder Woman. But her strength!’ Carter reflected of the character for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam.
‘That she cannot be victimized is one of the greatest strengths. She does not victimize others; she protects. Her superpowers are those that are not on the aggressive side – she is the protector.’
She added, ‘And I think that, as women, we understand that strength – the juggling of 10,000 things at once that we do, and still have that fierce “mama bear” that comes through at times.’
