Rihanna reveals how many songs she has yet to release… a decade after her last chart-topping studio album
Rihanna hasn’t released a studio album in a decade, but that doesn’t mean she’s lacking in material.
The Diamonds singer, 38, revealed she’s got a massive catalog of songs just waiting to drive the fans wild in a Fenty Beauty TikTok livestream earlier this week.
Rihanna was promoting her makeup line when she was asked, ‘How many unreleased songs are you sitting on?’
She looked away and smirked. Then, holding up a Fenty box and counting, she teased, ‘If there are ten products in a vault, then I have at least 17 vaults.’
In other words, Rihanna has a stash of 170 songs.
While she didn’t reveal when she planned to release them, the disclosure sent fans into a frenzy.

‘Release Em Ri!’ one wrote in the comments while another lamented, ‘Ummmmmm drop the songs please.’
A third bluntly stated, ‘Give me the d**n album. I have enough of everything Fenty already.’
Rihanna’s last studio album, Anti, was released in January 2016 and was a huge commercial and critical hit, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.
She has, however, dropped several individual songs including Too Good featuring Drake, Loyalty featuring Kendrick Lamar and the single Lift Me Up from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack and Friend of Mine from The Smurfs movie soundtrack.
Rihanna has stepped back from music to build her Fenty beauty empire and raise a family with A$AP Rocky, her partner of six years.
The couple welcomed their first son, RZA, in May 2022; in August 2023, she gave birth to their second son, Riot Rose; and in September of last year, their daughter, Rocki Irish, arrived.
Back in August, Rocky, 38, whose real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, teased Rihanna was ‘cooking’ new music in the studio.
‘She in the studio right now. Yeah, I said it. Sorry, babe,’ the Praise the Lord (Da Shine) hitmaker said on an episode of The Jason Lee Show.

On July 12, Rihanna stunned fans at Jay‑Z’s Yankee Stadium gig with surprise performances of Run This Town and B**** Better Have My Money.
The New York audience loudly showed their appreciation.
However, at one point, Rihanna confessed to the crowd: ‘Y’all know I’m rusty, right? It’s been a while, Y’all with me right now?’
Rocky also joined Jay‑Z on stage, performing Fkin’ Problems.
It marked Rihanna’s first stage appearance since she headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in Arizona in 2023.
