She is currently happily dating SNL funny man Bill Hader.
But fans of The OC are still heartbroken over Rachel Bilson’s 2006 breakup with her costar Adam Brody.
Bilson, 38, responded to an InStyle Instagram post on Thursday, after a writer for the outlet said the couples breakup ‘basically ruined high school for us,’ to which Bilson wrote ‘I’M SORRY!’

Bilson and Brody, 40, dated for three years after meeting onset of The OC in 2003 before splitting in 2006.

There didn’t seem to be any bad blood between the exes as the Heart of Dixie star added, ‘He fared really well.’
Brody married Leighton Meester in 2014 and welcomed their daughter Arlo in 2015.

The exes continued to star in the hit Fox show until 2007 after their split.
Bilson went on to date Hayden Christensen, welcoming their daughter Briar Rose in 2014 before splitting in 2017.
The actress has since been dating Bill Hader, 41, since late last year, and the two even made their red carpet debut at the Golden Globes earlier this year.
She joined in on the reminiscing earlier in the week, sharing a video from the show, last Friday, that showed her as Summer and Brody as Seth.

The two high-schoolers try to improve their sex-life, with some coaching on intimacy by a friend, who asks them to touch each other, but nowhere inappropriate.
She wrote: ‘Touching is underrated. Stay safe everyone.’
The comment comes amid the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, outbreak is asking a fifth of the U.S. population to stay home and stay six-feet away from people to limit disease’s spread.
