Erin Andrews Swaps Viral Faux Fur Coat for Leather Trench at Seahawks Game
Erin Andrews, once again, brought style to the NFL sidelines.
Andrews, 47, rocked a sleek leather trench coat cinched at her waist while reporting on the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks’ divisional playoff game held Saturday, January 17. The sports journalist completed her ensemble with a matching black turtleneck, trousers and pointy-toed pumps, alongside gold jewelry.
For glam, Andrews wore a full beat and styled her signature blonde tresses in long, loose waves.
As Andrews commentated the Seahawks’ 41-6 victory, fans took to social media to praise her chic look.
“Erin Andrews looking fine ash I see you baby leather jacket n all that,” one X user wrote, with another adding, “Erin Andrews looking good af boi.”
A third fan, meanwhile, jokingly tweeted that “Erin Andrews shaved her coat,” referring to Andrews’ now-viral faux fur jacket she wore while covering Fox’s playoff football game earlier this month. Andrews sported Auter’s Fox Jacket in Sand Noir ($995) during the 49ers’ NFC Wild Card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on January 11.
“It’s such a different look for me. In the wind, I know it looked like a Beyoncé video,” she told Glamour in a Tuesday, January 13, interview. “It felt fabulous, it felt like a big event, it felt like a big wild card playoff game on FOX. It was the perfect time to wear this piece, and I’m so excited we did it.”

Andrews was gifted the coat by Auter founder Rob Zangardi and ultimately listened to her stylist about debuting the jacket at the Niners-Eagles matchup.
“I knew when my stylist, Daniela Romero, suggested I wear it that it was outside the box and super fun — and I thought Philly was the best place to do it,” Andrews recalled to the outlet. “I forgot I was even wearing it when I did my first hit with the NFL on FOX Pregame Show because I was so locked in. I was intro-ing Christian McCaffrey, and it’s the Wild Card, it’s a big deal.”
Andrews further opened up about stepping outside of her sartorial comfort zone on the Thursday, January 15, episode of her “Calm Down” podcast.

“I’m actually proud of myself because you know I’m super safe, within the box [when it comes to clothes], and I was like, ‘This is fun! F*** it!’” Andrews told podcast cohost Charissa Thompson, stressing that the coat wasn’t made from real fur. “What world do you guys live in, by the way, that you think as animal lovers, [I would wear real fur]. I’m not wearing real fur, you moron! I started [my Erin’s Farm] animal sanctuary!”
Andrews is a staple on Fox Sports broadcasts, but often opts for comfort over fashion on game days.
“[I am] a girl that walks around with a Tumi backpack and a North Face and a ski suit every week,” she quipped, defending her choice to switch up her look. “I knew it was freaking fun, and fashionable and outside the box for me. I was like this is fun and I’m actually proud of myself because you know I’m super safe, within the box, and I was like, ‘This is fun! F*** it!’”
