Ozzy Osbourne is one of the only members of his family who has avoided falling ill to COVID over the past year.
And the Prince of Darkness recently expressed his eagerness to get vaccinated, as his many adoring fans pull for him.
He’s since said that he was ‘relieved’ to have gotten his first dose of the vaccine this week, as he and wife Sharon gave an update Friday, following her recovery from the coronavirus.

The 72-year-old made a remote appearance from bed with Sharon, 68, and their dogs on the British talk show Loose Women.
‘Of course,’ he responded when asked if he got the vaccine yet, as his wife clarified: ‘He says, “of course” — he only had it yesterday.’

Ozzy said of the experience: ‘It felt like I was being stabbed. My arm was hurting yesterday, but I’m glad I got it, you know?’
He previously gave metal fans cause for concern earlier this week, when he revealed on SiriusXM that he’d yet to get the vaccine, but was looking forward to doing so.

The Iron Man artist said: ‘I want to get the shot. I look at it like this — if I don’t get the shot and I get the virus, there’s a good chance I ain’t going to be here.’
He’s in a higher risk group of the pandemic, given his age and his diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease back in 2019.

She was later released just in time for Christmas, writing on Instagram: ‘Got the ok to go home after two negative test results and look at the joy waiting for me!

Their granddaughter Minnie, three, tested positive for COVID back in September, even though her dad Jack Osbourne, 35, and his other daughters Pearl, eight, and Andy, five, came up negative.
Daughter Kelly Osbourne, 36, also revealed in December that she had some COVID symptoms, but it turned out to be ‘really bad bronchitis,’ which irritated her asthma.
Ozzy and Sharon married in July of 1982, and they share Kelly, Jack and daughter Aimee, 37, who’s mostly remained out of the spotlight over the years.
