Karlie Kloss has finally offered a public comment about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden.
Kloss, 33, was an inner-circle member of Swift’s feverishly publicized ‘girl squad’ of the early 2010s, but by 2017 they had stopped being seen together in public, triggering an avalanche of speculation that they had fallen out with each other.
However Kloss and her husband Joshua Kushner – the brother of Jared Kushner – were among the 1,000-strong guest list at Swift’s nuptials on July 3.
Their attendance sent the rumor mill into overdrive, with fans swapping wild theories about when and how Swift and Kloss had supposedly arrived at a rapprochement.
Kloss remained circumspect when she was asked about the star-studded ceremony during a Tuesday morning appearance on the Today show.
‘Listen, I try to protect the privacy of my friends’ personal lives,’ she said. ‘But what I will say is that they’re an amazing couple and I’m so happy for them.’
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Swift and Kloss for comment.

Swift and Kelce welcomed a cavalcade of celebrities to their Madison Square Garden wedding, which was officiated by Adam Sandler and featured performances by Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney and the bride herself.
Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, as well as Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Hugh Grant, Steven Spielberg, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Tom Brady, Jessica Chastain, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, Chris Rock, Jessica Alba, Danny Ramirez, Paul Mescal, Gracie Abrams and several of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates like Patrick Mahomes were on hand for the blowout extravaganza.
A fairytale castle inspired by Swift’s Love Story music video was reportedly erected inside the massive stadium, and camera equipment was spotted being unloaded outside in the days leading up to the event.
Road closures around the venue plunged Manhattan traffic into chaos and impeded travel out of Penn Station just as New Yorkers attempted to leave town ahead of Fourth of July weekend in the midst of a punishing heatwave.
Although Kloss attended the supersize wedding, she did not appear to have been asked to the more intimate rehearsal dinner for about 100 guests the previous night.
Kloss and Swift purportedly struck up their friendship in 2013, and in the ensuing years they were frequently pictured together at public events.
In 2015, Kloss was part of the celebrity-strewn cast of the music video for Swift’s song Bad Blood – an eerie foreshadowing of the speculation to come.
By 2017 their joint public sightings had tapered off, igniting a firestorm of rumors about what had caused them potentially to drift apart.

Some fans pointed the finger at the fact that Kloss was managed by music mogul Scooter Braun, who was locked in a rancorous feud with Swift.
When Kloss tied the knot with Joshua Kushner in upstate New York in October 2018, Braun was part of the 80-person guest list and Swift was not.
Others spread the sensational theory that Swift, a vocal Democrat, had broken with Kloss over the latter’s family ties to Donald Trump.
Although Kloss became Ivanka Trump’s sister-in-law by marrying Kushner, she has publicly expressed her political differences with the Trump administration.
Kloss appeared to signal thawing relations with Swift last August when she liked the pop star’s Instagram post announcing her engagement to Kelce.

Neither she nor Swift has issued a public comment on the past rumors of a feud or the present eruption of fan conjecture regarding a potential reconciliation.

Swift and Lively were once thick as thieves, so close that the former was named godmother to all three of the latter’s daughters by Ryan Reynolds.
But what once seemed an indissoluble bond was torpedoed after Swift was embarrassingly dragged into Lively’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
When Lively was left off the gargantuan guest list of Swift’s wedding, a source exclusively informed the Daily Mail they would ‘never be friends again.’
Lively was ‘sad and a little bit p***ed. No, a lot p***ed,’ said the insider. ‘That friendship was over before but if there was hope, it’s gone.’
The Gossip Girl star ‘wanted to go,’ the source noted. ‘It feels bad to be excluded like that. She had sort of hoped that despite everything, their history was enough that they’d be included, but that’s not the way it went.’
Lively was glimpsed hundreds of miles away from Madison Square Garden on Thursday, July 2, the day Swift held her rehearsal dinner there.
Lively and Reynolds were seen that day watching their six-year-old daughter Betty compete at a horse show on a farm in Lake Placid, New York, via TMZ.
Adding insult to injury, Swift released a song called Betty in 2020, back when her friendship with Lively was at its public zenith.
