SAG Awards 2021: ‘Schitt’s Creek’ wins for best TV comedy ensemble

  • April 05, 2021

Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Kaluuya won best supporting actor in a motion picture for “Judas and the Black Messiah” and Youn took supporting actress for “Minari” at the SAG Awards, a reimagined one-hour special that focused on actors and their craft rather than a usual live awards ceremony because of COVID-19.

“This one’s for Chadwick Boseman and this one’s for Fred Hampton,” Kaluuya said in his acceptance speech honoring the late “Da 5 Bloods” actor he was competing against as well as Kaluuya’s real-life role in “Black Messiah.”
