Antonio Brown Enlists Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s Help for Boxing Match Against Logan Paul

The former NFL player has accepted the YouTube star’s challenge, claiming that the retired professional boxer is training him for the upcoming celebrity fight.

Antonio Brown is set for a showdown with another controversial figure, Logan Paul. The former New England Patriots star has answered to the YouTube star’s challenge for a celebrity boxing match which was first launched in December 2019.

During an appearance on Barstool’s KFC Radio last month, the internet personality said, “Antonio Brown, I wanna f**k you up.” It wasn’t until Monday, January 6 that Antonio responded to Logan’s challenge, posting on Twitter, “square up @LoganPaul.”

Logan continued taunting his potential next opponent, tweeting back, “i’d drop you faster than the patriots.” Antonio wasn’t deterred though, as he claimed that former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is going to train him for the match.

Sharing a screenshot of his Twitter exchanged with Logan, the wide receiver wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, “2020 boxing match vs @loganpaul my trainer @floydmayweather let’s get it…. Comment below if you coming to fight.”

Floyd has neither commented on Antonio and Logan’s possible celebrity boxing match neither confirmed his possible involvement, but some social media users have laughed at this. “Hellll nawwww,” one simply reacted to Antonio’s claim.

“This what hittin rock bottom looks like first you wanna rap now you wanna box,” another commented on the former NFL star’s post. “oh come on now bruh,” read another comment by an unimpressed fan. Someone else mocked him, “went from setting NFL records to fighting a youtuber smh bruh.”

Meanwhile, former running back Reggie Bush advised Antonio against the boxing match and told him to “get back to football!!” instead. “Don’t give him the time of day you too good for that! Your talent is still unmatched don’t let these internet dudes get you off your focus!” He added. The league needs you back next year let’s go! 2020 that dog gotta eat! Let them watch you shine on tv in this biggest arena on the biggest stage where you canâ€™t be touched!”
