Over the course of the Obama administration, the friendship of Joe Biden and Barack Obama — and, specifically, photos of the two men — became the foundation of many an Internet meme.
Biden kept that meme dream alive on Friday when he wished the former president a happy birthday, photo included.
The featured photo was taken by Obama White House photographer Pete Souza in 2012. According to a blog post that included the picture, the two were joking around prior to a campaign rally in Portsmouth, N.H.
