Stormy Daniels' 'Make America Horny Again' shows postponed, canceled

DETROIT — It’ll have to rain another night in Detroit. And Satellite Beach, Fla.

For the second time in a month, porn star Stormy Daniels postponed her appearance at a Detroit strip club. 

A problem with the private jet that was to bring Daniels to the city kept her from arriving on time for Wednesday’s scheduled 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and midnight performances, said Steve K., a manager at Truth Detroit gentlemen’s club, who declined to give his full name. 

He told the Detroit Free Press the show isn’t canceled entirely. It’s now been postponed to April 18. He added that Daniels will arrive the day before so she can get a license to dance at the club.

Daniels, 39, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, initially was scheduled to perform at the club in mid-March. She canceled that show because she had strep throat.

In Florida, a notice on the Red Leopard’s Facebook page, said the Satellite Beach event “Stormy Daniels: Make America Horny Again” was canceled Monday, three days before the adult film star was to take center stage.

Tickets to see the Satellite Beach show, which was part of Daniels’ nationwide adult club tour, were $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Promotional posters and posts on social media feature the adult film star in different costumes.

According to Eventbrite, the website selling tickets for Daniels’ performances, the next scheduled appearance will be Friday at Ultra Palm Beach in West Palm Beach, Fla., about 5 miles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club. The president, who often spends weekends at his Florida retreat, is not expected to travel there again until Monday.

Daniels alleges she had a sexual tryst with future president Donald Trump in 2006, and signed a nondisclosure agreement days before the 2016 presidential election to keep quiet about it.

Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, has said he used his personal funds to pay Daniels $130,000 as part of the deal. But the payment might have been a violation of campaign finance rules. The FBI raided Cohen’s office Monday looking for information tied to Daniels and other Trump-related dealings.
